Stresses and straines for man and gear alike: the long distance rider of a group of police from Braunschweig, Germany, with the new Kawasaki GTR (Concours) stretches over no less and 100,000 Kilometers and more than 100 days. Also participating: motorcycle clothing made by Rukka. The officers are enthusiastic about the Finnish protective apparel.

The action sponsored by Rukka was kicked off on July 28, 2007. Each of the experienced bikers is calledupon ridin a day's trip of 1,000 km at least several times, no matter whether in stifling heat or at eight degrees C in pouring rain. No later than on November 3, the kawasaki's odometer reading is susposed to strike 100,000.

Besides a comfortable and reliable bike, functional and safe protective wear - like the Rukka suits - is required for the endeavour. The members of the oragizing team was thrilled by thier Rukka ArmaX suits and the way they proved their quality during many thousands of riding kilometers. "The wearing comfort is exceptionsl," extrols Rudiger Muller, team leader of the organization. "The protectors do not pinch, color and cuffs are outstanding and the adjusters all the more enchnce comfort," states the ardent morotcyclist, "and the Rukka suits have always been perfectly waterproof." Essential for the journeys since the outmost of the trips were conducted in pouring rain. Peter Matschi on his 1,537 kilometer rain tour to lake Tegernsee and back, for instance, was grateful for the comfort andfunction of the Rukka ArmaX, made form the Gore-Tex three layer laminate Armacore.

The outfit in a black and yellow color is not only an eyechatcher at every biker meeting, it also makes for even more active safety in poor visibility by it's signal yellow color, as organizing team leater Muller explains. "Plus, it gives you a soothing feeling to be optimilly protected in the case of a fall."
